Informatica Developer

Location: Carlsbad, CA/Pittsburg, PA
Duration: 12+ months on (Contract)
Job Description:
∙ Strong Informatica technical knowledge in the areas of Informatica Designer Components - Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Mapping Designer & Mapplet Designer, Transformation Developer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor (Infa 9x / 10x).
∙ Strong database analysis skill using SQL/PLSQL
∙ Strong expertise in SQL Server & Oracle database
∙ Understand reusability, parameterization, workflow design, ETL
∙ Develops ETL processes using Informatica, ETL control tables, error logging, auditing, data quality, etc. Must have good communication skills
∙ Must be able to develop and maintain documentation to our standards / provide feedback on standards where they can be improved
∙ Responsible for designing, developing, testing and troubleshooting and implementing complex ETL processes
∙ Ability to work with multiple different personality types while managing workload within a fast paced, energetic, and dynamic workplace.
∙ Good problem solving, design, coding and debugging skills.
∙ Develop, code, test, and deliver data warehouse solutions.
∙ Translate business requirements into technical designs to map and load data from source systems to data warehouses.
∙ Ensure quality and accuracy of the data mapped from staging environments to the target reporting environments.
∙ Knowledge of data modeling and database design at the conceptual, logical, and physical level.
∙ Provide support to existing production ETL jobs.
∙ Develop ETL audits and controls to ensure quality of data meets or exceeds defined standards and thresholds.
∙ Communicate open items and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, and business areas.
∙ Maintaining data repository with data definitions, relationships, linkages and sources.
∙ Expertise in IDQ is a plus.
