CMO Relationship Manager

We are recruiting an experienced Supply Chain Manager / CMO Relationship Manager for a leading life sciences organisation based in Dublin (Citywest). This role focuses on external manufacturing, supplier management, and end-to-end supply chain performance within a regulated GMP environment. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of contract manufacturing organisations (CMOs) and external suppliers, ensuring supply continuity, service level performance, and operational excellence. This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite in Dublin) with strong cross-functional exposure across Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Finance.Key Responsibilities:Lead and develop a Supply Chain team within a fast-paced manufacturing environmentManage CMO / external manufacturing relationships, ensuring performance, compliance, and supply continuityOversee supplier performance management, including KPIs, OTIF (On Time In Full), and service level agreementsAct as key interface between external manufacturers and internal stakeholdersLead supply chain governance, escalation management, and risk mitigation processesDrive end-to-end supply chain performance improvement and operational excellence initiativesSupport and lead New Product Introduction (NPI), technical transfers, and product launchesOwn change control processes across external manufacturing partners in compliance with GMP requirementsEnsure robust supply chain data governance, reporting, and audit readinessLead cross-functional supply chain planning and governance forumsDrive continuous improvement through Lean / Six Sigma and process optimisation initiativesKey Requirements:5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, or broader life sciences supply chainProven experience in CMO management, external manufacturing, or supplier relationship management (SRM)Strong people management experience (5+ direct reports preferred)Experience working in GMP-regulated manufacturing environmentsStrong background in supplier performance management (OTIF, KPIs, service levels)Experience in NPI, technical transfer, or change control processesExcellent cross-functional stakeholder management and leadership capabilityProven ability to manage supply chain risk, disruptions, and escalation scenariosFor more information or a confidential discussion about this CMO Relationship Manager, contact Michelle Miley at 090 6450667 or via email at michelle.miley@collinsmcnicholas.ie
