Applications Developer II
About the Role
The Applications Developer II is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications that support various business functions. The role requires a strong understanding of software development principles and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions. The developer will write clean, scalable, and efficient code while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Conducting unit testing and debugging is essential to ensure software quality and reliability. The role also includes participating in code reviews, maintaining code quality, sharing knowledge with teammates, utilizing version control systems like Git, documenting software designs, code, and processes, and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
Typically, 2+ years of related experience.
Proficiency in at least two programming languages and familiarity with development frameworks.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Experience with designing and implementing software solutions independently.
Experience debugging and testing.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SQL Server or other relational database management systems (RDBMS).
MS Access database development and VBA programming experience.
Web application development experience.
Power BI report development and data visualization methods.
Experience with database ETL processes and data integration.
Familiarity with engineering programming languages (Python, MATLAB, VBA).
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
Familiarity with development frameworks such as Spring, Django, .NET, React, or Angular.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.
Compensation
Pay Range: $89,016.00 - $122,418.00 (actual base compensation will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis).
