The Role The Director of Brand Engagement will lead its team into a new era of engagement and entertainment with creative storytelling and community building with a strong pulse on culture and social conversations. This role will lead our earned brand strategy by connecting and continuing to build our Paula's Choice community of advocates including creators, consumers and influencers. A key leader within the PC global brand and comms team, the Director of Brand Engagement brings the brand's vision to life and drives authentic engagement across communities and social media.
As a Director of Brand Engagement, a typical day might include: Mentor and develop a high‑performing team, empowering them to excel in the ever‑evolving landscape of PR, social + influencer marketing.
Craft compelling narratives that resonate with community and target audiences, with a pulse on culture, social conversations and influential voices to amplify brand messaging.
Partner with cross‑functional teams, including marketing, creative, product development, and key countries to ensure seamless integration of communications plans.
Develop and implement a comprehensive global advocacy strategy sourcing talent and creator partners to shoot and develop content that align with brand vision.
Cultivate and manage relationships with key influencers, brand ambassadors, and media partners to drive brand love and engagement.
Develop data‑driven insights to track KPI's, optimize campaign performance, and measure the impact of activations.

The Details Location: Hybrid, Seattle HQ
Hours: Typical PST business hours, with some flexibility required
Physical requirements: Ability to handle long periods of both sitting & screen time
Travel requirements: Up to 15%
What You'll Bring to the Table 10+ years of experience in social and influencer strategy within a leadership role
In‑depth knowledge and understanding of influencer marketing and social platforms and how they can be leveraged to achieve business goals, including emerging trends in channel performance and content strategies
Proven experience with content creations, influencer + ambassador programs, community management, and brand communications.
Experience developing compelling influencer campaigns and effective content strategies

Compensation Approximate Salary Range: $155,000 - $170,000 USD/annually
Paula's Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry‑specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
