ABOUT ANYWAY
Anyway exists to help every young person discover what's possible.
For too long, career education has been built around the pathways young people already know. We're building something different; a platform that helps millions of students explore industries, careers and opportunities they may never have otherwise considered.
Today we partner with governments, schools and some of the world's leading employers to help young people make more informed decisions about their futures. But our ambition reaches much further than that. We want Anyway to become the most recognized and trusted youth careers brand in the world.
To get there, we need to tell stories people genuinely want to watch.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a creative who sees content as more than videos for social media.
We want
someone who understands how storytelling builds brands, changes perceptions and creates communities . Someone who can recognize a compelling moment before it happens, ask the question that unlocks a great story, and turn a single day of filming into weeks of meaningful content.
This isn't a role where you'll spend your days waiting for briefs or producing polished corporate videos. Some days you'll be filming founders. Others you'll be interviewing students, creators, teachers or industry leaders. One week you might be capturing a live event, the next you could be walking through Central Park, and then another day you could be filming in a Fortune 500 HQ with the Global Director.
We're looking for someone who's
excited by the unpredictability that comes with building a media-first company.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
You'll own the end-to-end creative production process, from identifying stories worth telling through to filming and editing content across multiple platforms. You'll work closely with our founders and marketing team to prove out our original content series’, document key moments across the business, and continuously experiment with new formats that help Anyway reach more young people.
Beyond producing great content, you'll help us build the creative systems that allow a small team to operate at a much larger scale. That means developing repeatable production workflows, AI-assisted editing processes, content libraries, shot lists, interview frameworks and templates that allow every shoot to generate weeks of valuable content.
You'll also play an active role in shaping our creative direction. We don't want someone who simply executes ideas; we want someone who constantly brings new ones to the table, spots opportunities others miss and pushes us to keep improving.
WHAT YOU'LL CREATE
You'll help bring some of Anyway's biggest storytelling projects to life. That includes documentary-style founder content, student stories, career exploration films, podcasts, social-first interview series, behind-the-scenes content, event coverage, customer case studies, creator collaborations and long-form YouTube docu-series.
Every piece of content should contribute to building a recognizable media brand that feels authentic, optimistic and unmistakably Anyway.
WHO YOU ARE
You're an exceptional storyteller first and a videographer second .
You know how to make people feel comfortable in front of a camera and understand that the best interviews rarely come from sticking rigidly to a list of prepared questions. You're equally comfortable shooting with minimal equipment in unpredictable environments as you are editing polished content for social platforms.
You naturally think about
hooks ,
pacing ,
narrative
and
audience retention
while you're filming because you already know how the story will come together in the edit.
Most importantly, you're curious. You ask good questions, notice details others overlook and genuinely enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Ideally, you've spent several years creating content professionally and can demonstrate a portfolio of work that tells compelling human stories.
You're confident shooting and editing independently, have experience across short and long-form content, and understand the nuances of platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro is expected, and if you're already using AI tools to improve your creative workflow, even better.
We're far more interested in the quality of your work and your instincts than where you've worked or what degree you have.
YOU'LL PROBABLY LOVE THIS ROLE IF...
You enjoy building things from scratch, thrive in fast-moving environments and find yourself constantly thinking about content ideas, even when you're not working.
You like the challenge of turning everyday moments into engaging stories and get excited by the idea of helping build a globally recognized brand from the ground up.
You'll have a high level of creative autonomy, direct access to founders and the opportunity to shape the creative identity of a company that's reimagining how young people discover their future careers.
THIS PROBABLY ISN'T FOR YOU IF...
You're looking for a traditional videography contract where every shoot is planned weeks in advance and every brief is fully formed before you begin.
This role requires initiative, adaptability and curiosity. You'll often need to make creative decisions in the moment, identify stories before anyone else sees them and take ownership without waiting to be asked.
SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE
Within your first six weeks, you'll have helped launch and improve original content series, established scalable production systems and built a workflow that allows every major shoot to generate meaningful content across multiple channels.
Upon completion of the contract, there will be an opportunity for extended contract work or other employment options with Anyway.
