About the Role


The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Strategic Communications to serve as the senior communications leader for the Office of the Executive Vice President and its nine divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and leading a newly integrated communications organization that supports the administrative enterprise. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic priorities, brand, and stakeholder needs. The Executive Director will also serve as the principal communications advisor to the Executive Vice President and Vice Presidents, leading the strategic communications function, and shaping executive messaging, media relations, reputation management, marketing, and change communications.

Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include organizational leadership, strategy and executive communications, media relations, marketing, and content strategy, as well as team leadership and operations. The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree plus 7-10 years' of progressively responsible communications leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They must demonstrate exceptional writing, editing, project management, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to advise senior executives and lead various communication functions. The role requires a professional with a strong background in organizational design, change management, and a proven track record in talent development and team building. The Executive Director will be expected to have a data-informed approach to decision-making and be adept at using metrics to guide communication strategies.
