Overview Arup is seeking a Marketing Winning Work Specialist within the Marketing Winning Work function to support winning activities in the West + LATAM geography. The role provides operational and proposal support across the pursuit and bid lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business priorities and established winning work practices. The position works with bid directors, bid managers, and technical teams to support pursuit planning, proposal development, and interview preparation, contributing to high-quality client submissions.
Key Responsibilities Work with Bid Directors and Bid Managers through all stages of the pursuits process.
Support bid coordination to deliver compelling, client-focused submissions.
Liaise with technical teams, schedulers, project managers and other contributors to ensure timely receipt of information to meet deadlines and priorities.
Coordinate content for Arup’s bid and pitch documents.
Work with MCBD contributors to support messaging and proposal quality.
Capture project win nuggets to share internally and with the broader MCBD team to promote new project wins.
CRM and Systems Use CRM and bid systems throughout the bid lifecycle, supporting data integrity and pipeline reporting.
Apply best-practice tools, templates and resources to support effective pursuits and bidding across the wider business.
Update bid data in bid sites, SharePoint databases and CRM.
Market and Client Focus Support client-facing activities including research to support positioning and provide input on presentations and interview preparation.
Qualifications and Accreditations Degree or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Development or other relevant field.
APMP certification desirable.
Knowledge and Experience 3+ years of relevant experience supporting pursuits and bids.
Experience delivering bids at a local office geography scale.
Knowledge of AEC bidding and procurement methods.
Experience working with technical staff and marketing teams to ensure proposal process adherence and quality/consistency across documents.
Experience with CRM pipeline management and data management tools.
Contribute to maintaining and enhancing the culture and core values of Arup.

Proficiency with marketing and communications tools (Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite).

Hiring Range The base salary range for this role in San Francisco is $85,000 to $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Hiring ranges outside San Francisco may differ.
