The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Warriors to Work Regional Director leads a team of Warriors to Work teams in regional offices and field offices to provide career transition guidance and help warriors obtain gainful employment and meaningful career opportunities. The Warriors to Work (WtoW) Regional Director develops employer relationships, identifies employer points of contact to be shared with WtoW teams, and provides advice to employers on best practices to hire and employ veterans.
Note: The Warriors to Work program objective is to help warriors to secure rewarding and successful careers leading to long-term financial security and financial wellness for themselves and their families.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Proven leadership skills and ability to lead, motivate, coach, and educate staff member, especially with geographically dispersed subordinates. Demonstrated ability to manage through vision and values.

EXPERIENCE Requirements
Five years of WWP Programs experience (e.g., Alumni, Mental Health & Wellness, Physical Health & Wellness) or business recruitment experience in a corporate environment.
Five years of staff leadership and management experience.
Preferences
Five years of experience managing virtual or remote teams.
Five years of experience successfully creating and maintaining long-term business partnerships.
Five years of experience growing and developing outcome-oriented career goals for veterans.
Two years of business development experience in a nonprofit environment.
EDUCATION Requirements
Bachelor's degree. An equivalent combination of applicable education, training, certification, and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Preferences
Master's degree in business or management.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURE Requirements
Valid state-issued driver's license.
Ability to obtain ASIST Certification within 1 year of hire.

ASIST Certification.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS General office environment; temperature controlled.
Routinely uses standard office equipment, e.g., copiers, phones, computers, filing cabinets.
Sitting for extended periods.
Up to 35% travel.

For Colorado Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $95,961 - $119,952 annual base salary,subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.
For San Diego, CA, and Washington State Applicants:The estimated hiring range for this position is between $105,100 - $131,376 annual base salary,subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.
