Unit Overview
- 4 Interventional Procedure Rooms
- Dedicated pre/post area (separate unit)
- Procedural scrubs provided
- 1–3 days of orientation based on experience level
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced environment
- Assist physicians during procedures including scrubbing and recording
- Handle a variety of IR cases including ablations
- Ensure patient safety and maintain high-quality imaging standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements (MUST HAVE)
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Active Illinois RT License
- Active ARRT Certification
- BLS & ACLS Certification (required)
- Associate's Degree from an accredited School of Radiology
- Experience with ablations
- Ability to scrub and document procedures
