Key Responsibilities
Oversee the editorial lifecycle for technical documents, research reports, and related products
Provide substantive editing, proofreading, and quality control support to ensure clarity and accuracy
Coordinate with authors and technical reviewers, managing multiple edit cycles and version control
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, or a related discipline
10+ years of senior-level technical editing or editorial management experience
Supervisory or mentoring experience within an editorial environment
Expert-level command of the GPO Style Manual and strong knowledge of federal publishing standards
Experience editing complex technical documents and ensuring copyright compliance
