Position Summary
The primary responsibilities and focus of a Security Officer are to protect the works of art in the museum and to ensure the safety of the guests. It is imperative that Security Officers be always in the galleries and be alert to the activities of visitors, report any immediate concerns to the Facilities/Security manager and be at work when scheduled.

Position Summary
A CAM Visitor Services Staff member helps to facilitate a successful visitor experience at CAM. This person provides a high level of customer service and satisfaction to ensure an excellent experience for all visitors and volunteers. Staff member’s daily work includes greeting visitors, selling admission, programs, classes, and memberships. Answering front desk phone calls, engaging with the visitors, handling questions and complaints, and monitoring guest compliance with museum safety and visitor protocols. This highly motivated, friendly and organized individual is skilled in customer service and hospitality and works closely with volunteers, security, gift shop, housekeeping, café, and education.

Maintenance Assistant
Job Title: Maintenance Assistant

Reports To: Facilities Manager

Employment Status: Part-time; 20 hours per week

Compensation: $15 to $18 per hour

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant. This position supports both the general maintenance of the museum and the grounds, and occasionally will assist with the professional care, handling, and installation of artworks. The ideal candidate has a hands‑on skill set, respects delicate materials, and is comfortable working in a fast‑paced, creative environment.

Marketing Assistant
Full Time

Responsibilities: The Marketing Assistant plays a key role in museum communications and marketing in helping to support and construct the overall museum story through successful marketing campaigns and in the development of creative visual assets. View job description for more information.

Weekend Cleaning Staff
Part-time position

Responsibilities: Cleaning the main floor, Visitor Services, Reception Hall, and bathrooms at Cameron Art Museum on weekends.
