Our client, Chelsea Milling Company - JIFFY, is seeking a dedicated Mixing Operator to join their team. As a Mixing Operator, you will be an essential part of the production process, supporting the Mixing Department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Mixing Operator
Location: Chelsea, MI
Pay Range: Starting pay is $18 per hour + a $0.30 per hour shift differential
Shift: 1st shift is 7am-3pm; 2nd shift is 3pm-11pm; and 3rd shift is 11pm-7am.
What's the Job?
Mix batches of products ensuring the correct ingredients and quantities are used according to recipe specifications.
Operate control panels and scales accurately to feed ingredients into the mixer.
Monitor ingredient quality and report any contamination or non-conforming products immediately.
Test and verify batch quality, ensuring compliance with company standards before releasing to the Packaging Department.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and staging ingredients for changeovers.
