Fall PR & Brand Strategy Intern — College Credit | New York City

Osmund Charles Consulting (OCC) is a New York–based boutique consultancy specializing in luxury public relations, brand strategy, and wholesale development. Our clients span fine jewelry, fashion, hospitality, and lifestyle — with work spanning press strategy, influencer and KOL partnerships, retail introductions, event production, and editorial storytelling.

We are accepting applications for a Fall 2026 Intern to join our team in New York City.

The Role

You will work directly alongside senior leadership on active client accounts from day one — not in a siloed support function. Responsibilities span multiple workstreams and reflect the full scope of boutique agency life:

  • Press research & outreach — building and maintaining tiered media lists; drafting pitches, press releases, and editorial correspondence

  • Influencer & KOL research — identifying and vetting creators, stylists, and cultural figures by category, audience, and aesthetic fit; supporting seeding and gifting coordination

  • Wholesale & retail buyer research — identifying target accounts and buyer contacts across specialty retail, boutiques, concept stores, and department stores; supporting outreach and presentation materials

  • Event support — assisting with press breakfasts, brand activations, trunk shows, and trade events including logistics, guest coordination, and on‑site staffing

  • Sample & asset coordination — tracking sample loans, press pulls, and gifting programs across clients

  • Coverage tracking & reporting — logging placements, calculating earned media value, and preparing client‑facing recaps

  • Brand materials support — contributing to pitch decks, lookbooks, one‑pagers, and brand narratives

What We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program; communications, PR, journalism, marketing, or fashion preferred

  • Strong writing skills and genuine interest in luxury, fine jewelry, or fashion

  • Highly organized, self‑directed, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Sharp research instincts — able to identify the right contacts efficiently

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace; familiarity with Cision, MuckRack, or Instagram analytics a plus

  • Must be eligible to receive college credit and able to provide documentation of enrollment prior to start

Logistics

  • Location: New York City — primarily in‑office, with occasional remote flexibility

  • Duration: Fall 2026, dates flexible based on academic calendar (ideally starting mid‑August — December)

  • Compensation: College credit only

  • Hours: Minimum 3 days a week
