Job Overview
At Zoe, social is where we show up for parents every day, and you're the one shaping what that looks like. As our Social Media Manager, you'll set the strategy behind everything we post, then work with the creative team to bring it to life on time and on-brand. You'll partner with marketing leadership on direction and manage the social calendar across multiple platforms. Reporting what works, why and what we try next because of it.

Who You Are

Demonstrated experience managing content production workflows across multiple platforms and stakeholders

Exceptional organizational skills and a bias toward planning ahead — you build systems that keep things from falling through the cracks

Comfort moving fast when needed — you can break from the standard process to chase a timely trend without letting the rest of the calendar slip

Clear, proactive communication with leadership, your creative team, and external partners

Expert with social platform best practices across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube

Willingness to be on camera or to quickly pull in someone who can be — you’re resourceful and not precious about how content gets made

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

1- 3+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.

Familiar with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook)

Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Dash Hudson, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).

Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.

Familiarity with social media metrics and KPI to inform social media optimization.

Strong understanding of audience segmentation and targeting.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

What You'll Do

Understands each platform's algorithm behavior and native format expectations — not "post the same reel everywhere" but knowing a hook that works on TikTok dies on Pinterest, and why.

Owns platform-level growth targets (follower growth, reach, engagement rate) and adjusts strategy per platform based on what the data says, not just post and hope

Own our social content strategy across platforms — every post ladders up to a goal, a campaign, or a bigger brand story

Build and maintain a rolling content calendar, planned weeks ahead, with major moments mapped out even further

Spot the trends and cultural moments worth jumping on (and the ones worth skipping) — and move fast when timing matters

Turn ideas into clear content briefs: what we're making, who's making it, and why it matters

Find new life for existing content — because a great shoot day should work overtime across platforms and campaigns

Bringing the Work to Life

Partner with the creative team to bring content to life — writing content briefs sharp enough that designers, videographers, and contractors can run with them

Keep approvals moving so leadership can review and sign off in efficient, consolidated rounds

Call out risks before they become problems — an unclear brief or a slipping timeline never surprises anyone on your watch

Know when to skip the process — when a trend's moment is now, you know exactly who to pull in to make it happen

Creative & Brand

Know our brand inside and out — voice, visual identity, and what "on-brand" looks like across every format and platform

Set the creative team up for success by handing off a tight content brief — you'll deliver what the platform requires to hit the goal: hook, length, format, and timing. You're the technical expert on the placement; the creative team is the technical expert on execution.

Stay ahead of platform trends and competitive moves, and bring fresh ideas to the table

Jump in front of the camera when the moment calls for it — or know exactly who else should

Reporting & Insights

Report on performance with a steady cadence: quick weekly reads for leadership, deeper monthly insights with real recommendations

Turn the data into decisions — what's working, what's not, and what we make next because of it

Community & Engagement

Show up in the comments, the DMs, and everywhere our community lives — actively engaging with fans, creators, and partner brands

Find and celebrate UGC, tags, and mentions to build real relationships with the people who love Zoe

Keep an eye on the competitive and cultural landscape to spot opportunities early
