Summary

Entravision is seeking an experienced Senior Line Producer to lead our weekend newsroom for a national Spanish-language streaming news platform. This role combines exceptional live news production with hands‑on newsroom leadership, serving as the editorial and operational lead during assigned shifts.
The ideal candidate thrives in breaking news, leads by example, and can make fast, confident editorial decisions while mentoring and supporting producers and newsroom staff.
Essential Functions

Produce live daily newscasts and continuous breaking news coverage.
Serve as the newsroom leader during assigned weekend shifts, ensuring editorial excellence and operational efficiency.
Supervise, coach, and support producers, writers, assignment editors, and production teams throughout the shift.
Make real-time editorial decisions during breaking news and coordinate newsroom resources accordingly.
Maintain communication with Executive Producers and newsroom leadership regarding major developing stories and editorial priorities.
Build and manage rundowns while ensuring shows remain accurate, dynamic, and on schedule.
Partner closely with graphic designers to create compelling visual storytelling and innovative production elements.
Integrate digital, streaming, and social media content into live broadcasts.
Foster collaboration, accountability, and a positive newsroom culture in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements

Required Education And Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Line Producer, including experience in a newsroom leadership or supervisory role.
Fluent written and spoken Spanish is required.
Extensive experience producing continuous breaking news coverage.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in a live newsroom environment.
Excellent editorial judgment and strong knowledge of U.S. Hispanic, Latin American, and international news.
Creative eye for graphics and visual storytelling.
Deep understanding of digital-first journalism, streaming platforms, and emerging social media trends.
Calm under pressure with exceptional decision‑making and communication skills.
Flexible schedule with the ability to lead weekend, holiday, and breaking news.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a Full Time position. Actual schedule and hours may vary.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

Reports directly to VP Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives for Broadcast
