Job Description

DOWNSTREAM TECHNICIAN

Monday - Friday

2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

$19.55 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform packaging, labeling, and final visual quality inspection of all products produced on assigned production lines
Conduct accurate counts and record quantities produced to ensure line efficiency
Partner closely with Line Operators during start-ups, shutdowns, and tooling changeovers
Set up, operate, and maintain downstream equipment according to standard operating procedures
Ensure product quality and adherence to specifications and packaging requirements
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, consistently using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production, safety, and housekeeping
Identify and report equipment or quality issues promptly to minimize downtime
Assist in maintaining production flow and meeting established production goals
JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous industrial or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift for extended periods during 8-12 hour shifts
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating temperatures
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Basic math and measurement skills required
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
