Primary Function

We are seeking a detail-oriented Creative Production Artist to join our Creative Services team. This is an entry-level to junior-level role focused on the execution, preparation, quality control, and distribution of creative assets across print and digital channels.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring files are accurate, accessible, compliant, and ready for production. This position is ideal for someone who offers attention to detail, ability to work to tight deadlines, strong organizational skills, and a passion for quality execution.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career creative professional to develop expertise in production, accessibility, and digital publishing while supporting a high-performing in-house creative services team. All training for key responsibilities will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare and finalize print and digital files for production and distribution.

Execute straightforward content updates and revisions to existing marketing and communications materials.

Follow guidelines to ensure files meet brand, production, and technical specifications.

Build and edit accessible PDFs, documents, and digital assets in accordance with current accessibility standards and best practices, including WCAG 2.2 guidelines.

Perform accessibility testing and remediation of digital content.

Coordinate the release and distribution of approved files to print vendors, internal stakeholders, and digital publishing platforms.

Maintain organized file structures, archives, and version control practices.

Support designers, writers, editors, and project managers throughout the production process.

Assist with content updates in content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms.

Troubleshoot file issues and recommend production solutions when needed.

Ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and according to established standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including:

InDesign

Illustrator

Photoshop

Dreamweaver

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Understanding of print production processes and file preparation standards.

Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Education & Experience

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

0-3 years of experience in a production artist, graphic production, creative services, or related role.

Experience working with content management systems (CMS).

Knowledge of digital publishing processes.

Familiarity with PDF remediation tools and accessibility testing software.

Understanding of email, web, and digital asset production.

Experience supporting regulated or compliance-driven communications environments.
