Supporting a cybersecurity program remotely, the Cybersecurity Technical Writer will develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation, ensuring compliance and quality while collaborating with engineers and project managers.
Key responsibilities:
Develop, edit, and maintain cybersecurity documentation for programs and systems
Create and update technical documents, reports, and operational guides, translating complex concepts into accessible language
Perform quality assurance reviews of cybersecurity artifacts to ensure completeness and compliance with standards
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Cybersecurity, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in technical writing for cybersecurity or IT programs
Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and federal cybersecurity documentation requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and PowerPoint
U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
