The Eagle River team has closed more than $1.5 billion in oil and gas acquisitions and divestitures since inception. Eagle River specializes in lower middle market transactions in the range of $5 million - $150 million with an emphasis on non-operated working interest, mineral/royalty and joint venture opportunities. Eagle River is actively seeking a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator for its Fort Worth office.

Job Description: Marketing & Business Development Coordinator
The primary role of the Marketing & Business Development Coordinator is to support and augment Eagle River’s marketing and business development functions.This position plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s day-to‑day marketing and transaction activities. The successful candidate will help prepare marketing materials for oil and gas transactions, maintain the firm’s website and marketing presence, coordinate client communications, conduct industry research, and assist with business development initiatives across multiple oil and gas plays.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, professional, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute marketing efforts for oil and gas acquisition and divestiture opportunities

Prepare presentations, teasers, and other transaction marketing materials

Develop PowerPoint presentations for clients, conferences, and business development meetings

Assist with maintaining and updating the firm’s website and digital marketing content

Coordinate email marketing campaigns and client communications

Maintain CRM databases and contact lists

Conduct research on operators, mineral owners, buyers, and emerging opportunities across various oil and gas basins

Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, conferences, and client events

Provide administrative support to the deal team as needed

Help manage transaction timelines and organize project materials

Perform other marketing, research, and administrative duties as assigned

Location

Five days per week in the office

Occasional travel required for client meetings, conferences, and business development activities

Reporting Relationships
The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator will report directly to the Managing Directors.

The Candidate
The candidate should be highly motivated, entrepreneurial, knowledgeable of the oil and gas industry, capable, dependable and reputable.

Ideally, the candidate will have a demonstrable track record of experience in administrative, marketing, business development or executive support roles.

The candidate should be prepared and able to work hard in a small team environment and be able to communicate clearly and concisely with Eagle River’s Managing Directors and other staff members. In addition, the candidate should be a self‑starter that is comfortable working autonomously. Some travel to meet existing and potential clients will be required.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in marketing, business development, executive support, oil and gas, or a related field preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Experience with CRM software is preferred

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

Preferred Experience
Candidates with any of the following will be viewed favorably:

Oil and gas industry experience

Land administration experience

Experience with mineral, royalty, or working interest transactions

Familiarity with upstream operations and major U.S. oil and gas basins

Experience preparing marketing materials for transactions or business development
