UX Writer Job at Virtual Vocations Inc in New York

Owning the craft of writing in a collaborative environment, the full-time UX Writer will create in-product copy, design features alongside teams, and establish voice and terminology for a remote, 4-month contract position with potential for extension or full-time hire.
Key responsibilities

Write end-to-end flows and in-product copy across the app, including interface text and error messaging
Collaborate with designers and product teams from concept through execution to shape copy and layout together
Develop voice and tonal guidance for both written content and AI-generated language within the product

Required qualifications

4+ years of UX writing or content design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing in-product copy
Experience with UX writing systems and familiarity with industry standards
Deep fluency with AI and conversational experiences, including dialogue and chatbots
Proficiency in design tools like Figma and ability to work closely with prototypes and functional specs
Strong instinct for clarity in technical or complex products
