Commercial Account Manager

A well established independent insurance brokerage is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its growing team. This organization combines the resources and capabilities of a large national brokerage with the collaborative culture and support of a local agency. The position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced insurance professionals while servicing a diverse commercial client portfolio.

Location
Hybrid (Denver, CO area)

Key Responsibilities

Partner closely with Producers to service, retain, and expand commercial accounts

Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional customer service

Review insurance programs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions

Identify cross sell and account rounding opportunities

Process new business, renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations accurately and efficiently

Assist Producers with proposals, marketing efforts, policy summaries, and carrier submissions

Educate clients on policy provisions, exclusions, and coverage recommendations

Coordinate with carriers and wholesale partners to negotiate favorable coverage terms

Maintain accurate and detailed records within the agency management system

Support billing, invoicing, and other account related administrative functions

Qualifications
Required

Active P&C Insurance License

3+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience within an independent agency environment

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to thrive in a collaborative office environment with some remote flexibility

Preferred

Experience with Applied EPIC

Familiarity with CSR24 or similar agency management platforms
