Audio Video Specialist
The Audio Video Specialist is responsible for overseeing the audio/video (A/V) systems across the campus. This person will assist the property teams with ensuring the conference rooms are set up and functioning properly for daily use. They will also be tasked with level 1 response to technical support requests involving the A/V systems and equipment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Check the A/V systems in each rooms on a regular basis to ensure the equipment is functioning properly
Set up the A/V systems and configuring the spaces, as needed to facilitate the requested reservations
Respond to technical issues
eeds in the amenity spaces from tenants/guests/property teams
Coordinate with A/V equipment installer for equipment warranty support, maintenance, installs, and replacements
Assist property management/engineering teams with requests pertaining to the conference spaces
Be available and on-site for critical meetings to address any A/V issues that may come up
Stay abreast of the latest AV technology and trends
Continuously test and learn new AV technology
Make informed decisions regarding what new AV technology can improve tenant and employee experience in a cost-effective manner
Education And Required Experience:
A/V technology certifications are preferred
3-5 years of experience supporting A/V systems with Crestron equipment
Working knowledge of A/V system concepts, infrastructure, wiring, and essential equipment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams equipment, configurations, and software operation
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and installation drawings
Ability to troubleshoot general A/V technical issues involving hardware, software, cabling, and connected room equipment
Ability to work alone or on a team

Demonstrate excellent communication (written, verbal and listening) and interpersonal skills
Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
Must possess a proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service
Ability to triage and prioritize support requests quickly
Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed
Must be able to work in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations
Physical Demands:
Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, to permit the employee to function in a general office environment and accomplish tasks and duties as outlined above. Must be able to lift boxes/items up to 50 pounds.
