Key Responsibilities

Serve as the liaison between the center and the university OTCs.

Coordinate joint projects for patent identification, protection, and promotion.

Align OTC activities with national research priorities.

Build and maintain a centralized patent database that compiles inventions from all partner universities.

Support patent filing, documentation, and renewal processes.

Monitor patent readiness levels and categorize by application area.

Develop networks and partnerships with local and international OTCs.

Share best practices in technology transfer, marketing strategies, and IP management.

Facilitate collaborative research-to-market pipelines across universities.

Maintain digital repositories of patents and research results.

Track utilization and commercialization status of patents.

Qualifications

Knowledge of

University research structures and academic collaboration models.

Patent law, IP protection, and international conventions.

Methods of technology assessment, valuation, and readiness evaluation.

OTC networks.
