Why We Exist
Many students, especially first-generation or underrepresented students, lack consistent access to trusted guidance on college applications, financial aid, scholarships, and career exploration. iLevelUP was created to bridge that gap by offering a comprehensive suite of tools and mentorship that meets students where they are — digitally, intuitively, and with clear pathways toward success.

Help iLevelUP turn approved footage, interviews, screen recordings, animation, and learning content into clear, accessible videos for underserved youth and young people.
We are seeking a volunteer Video Editor to produce polished content for web, mobile, YouTube, presentations, email, workshops, and social media.

Responsibilities

Edit interviews, explainers, lessons, demonstrations, testimonials, and promotional content

Shape clear stories through pacing, sequencing, music, graphics, captions, and sound

Create platform-ready aspect ratios, lengths, resolutions, thumbnails, and exports

Perform color correction, audio cleanup, basic motion graphics, and file organization

Add accurate captions, transcripts, lower thirds, credits, and accessible visual treatments

Follow approved scripts, releases, privacy, safeguarding, copyright, and brand standards

Incorporate structured feedback and meet project deadlines

Maintain editable project files and organized final assets

Qualifications

Portfolio demonstrating video editing and visual storytelling

Proficiency with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or comparable tools

Strong pacing, audio, color, typography, file-management, and collaboration skills

Reliable computer, internet access, and editing software

Motion graphics, education, accessibility, or short-form social experience is helpful

This is a remote, recurring project-based role available within the United States. Expect approximately 3-8 hours per month.
