VP Creative Director

GSW Santa Monica (Syneos Health) seeks a VP, Creative Director to set the creative vision, lead a cross-functional team, and manage client relationships in pharmaceutical advertising, in a hybrid Los Angeles area role with remote options for West Coast candidates.
Responsibilities

Provide creative leadership and establish the standard of excellence across the brand.
Present and advocate innovative work, gaining internal and client buy-in.
Collaborate with clients to shape powerful, effective creative strategies and solutions.
Mentor and direct a cross-functional creative team, ensuring timely delivery and fostering growth.
Oversee the financial health of client relationships from contract discussions to billing.
Contribute to new business pitches to support agency growth.
Requirements

A strong portfolio demonstrating solid conceptual ability.
10+ years of experience in pharma advertising, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Launch experience is required.
A deep understanding of clients' business and a dedication to delivering best-in-class creative solutions.
Expertise in current communication technologies and media channels, with a strong emphasis on digital strategy.
Proven success in strategic concepting and a track record of contributing to business development.
Excellent mentoring, interpersonal, and communication skills.
User Experience (UX) design training or experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
