Your Role Gensler is seeking a creative, strategic, and highly collaborative Social Media Specialist to support the South Central Region, including offices in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Nashville and San Antonio. This role will help elevate Gensler's brand, people, projects, thought leadership, and culture across social media channels while supporting regional business goals and employee engagement initiatives.
Working closely with the South Central Region PR and marketing teams, office and practice area leadership, and design professionals, the Social Media Specialist will develop and execute content strategies that amplify Gensler's impact across the region and strengthen our presence among clients, prospective employees, media, industry organizations, and community partners.
The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller, skilled content creator, and social media strategist who understands how to translate architecture, design, and workplace culture into compelling digital content.

Example responsibilities include partnering with marketing and PR teams to create visual branding guidelines, developing and executing social media strategies aligned with regional objectives, managing content planning across platforms, and preparing monthly and quarterly reporting on performance and trends.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, or related field
3 to 5+ years of professional social media, digital marketing, communications, or public relations experience
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Experience managing LinkedIn, Instagram, and social media management platforms
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Express, Canva, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar platforms
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders across multiple offices
Interest in architecture, design, workplace culture, innovation, and the built environment
