Founding Producer — The Handsome Hour

The Handsome Hour is a weekly dating and society podcast hosted by three tech founders. We are hiring our founding producer to own the show end to end: long‑form video and audio editing, short‑form clips, guest logistics, publishing, quality control, and the repeatable systems that keep every episode moving.

This is a part‑time 1099 role scoped around 20 hours per week. Base compensation is $2,000/month plus a performance bonus, with the potential to grow into a full‑time W‑2 role. The job is remote within the United States; New York City is strongly preferred.

What you’ll own:

Edit weekly multi‑camera podcast episodes for YouTube and audio platforms.

Find and cut the moments that become compelling short‑form clips.

Improve pacing, audio, titles, thumbnails, packaging, and publishing quality.

Coordinate guests and maintain the production calendar.

Build simple, reliable workflows so the hosts do not have to manage every detail.

The ideal candidate has excellent editorial taste, moves quickly without being chased, understands creator‑native content, and can improve an ambiguous brief rather than merely execute it.
