The Role
The Ad Strategist is the paid media performance lead for a portfolio of Digital Neighbor clients and a core member of the Client Results team. This role exists to make sure every paid media dollar a client spends is working toward their stated goal, whether that goal is lead generation, eCommerce revenue, or brand awareness. You will specialize in Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads, with additional platform exposure as client needs require.
Every role at Digital Neighbor feeds one company-wide goal: case studies produced per month. A case study requires a happy client who got results and stayed long enough to measure the outcome. The Ad Strategist owns the "got results" part of that equation. You keep campaigns performing against client goals and hand off clean, clear updates weekly so the Client Satisfaction team can tell the winning story.
You'd Be a Great Fit If You Were...
The person who checks ad spend pacing before their morning coffee, not because someone told you to, but because a budget surprise would keep you up at nightEnergized by the puzzle of turning raw campaign data into a clear story that a non-technical person can relay to a client with confidenceSomeone who sees a dip in CTR or rising CPA and feels a pull to diagnose it immediately rather than waiting for a scheduled reviewComfortable owning your book of accounts fully, making optimization calls without needing someone to approve every bid change or audience tweakThe kind of communicator who delivers bad news constructively, always pairing underperformance with a recommended path forward instead of just flagging the problemNaturally organized across multiple accounts with different budgets, goals, and platform mixes, and you don't need a manager hovering to keep things on trackGenuinely curious about platform changes, algorithm updates, and new ad formats, and you test new features before anyone asks you toMore motivated by client outcomes than campaign vanity metrics. Impressions are nice, but qualified leads and ROAS are what get you excited
