Job Summary

CU Boulder is seeking an organized, diligent, and proactive ProgramCoordinator to join our Industry Research Partnerships team. This50% position will provide essential support in coordinatingprograms, events, and communications that connect CU Boulder'sworld-class faculty and research expertise with leading industrypartners. The Program Coordinator will ensure smooth programoperations, track key outcomes, and help foster an environmentwhere partnerships and innovation can thrive.

The Innovation & Partnerships team within CU Boulder's Research& Innovation Office is translating groundbreaking discoveriesinto new solutions, businesses and partnerships, connecting theuniversity's research strengths with industry, government, andentrepreneurial partners across sectors like Aerospace &Defense, Biosciences, Advanced Energy & Sustainability, andQuantum. The team builds and manages strategic industryrelationships, guiding partnerships from first contact throughstructured collaboration, lowering barriers to innovation byconnecting partners with top talent and supporting scalablecollaboration. Working alongside CU Boulder's research institutes,tech transfer, and contracting offices, the team helps faculty andexternal partners move ideas from concept to real-world impact,while supporting the university's broader goal of growingindustry-sponsored research and workforce developmentopportunities.
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Program Coordination & Operations

Provide logistical and administrative support forindustry-faculty meetings, workshops, and events.
Coordinate scheduling, communications, and materials forindustry partnership programs.
Track program timelines, results, and outcomes, ensuringeffective follow-through.
Maintain accurate program records, contacts, and projectdatabases.
Support the development and distribution of programcommunications, reports, and marketing materials.
Event & Engagement Support

Assist in planning and hosting events, conferences, and campusvisits for industry partners.
Coordinate travel logistics, catering, room reservations, andother event needs.
Serve as a welcoming point of contact for visiting partners,faculty, and partners.
Faculty & Partner Support

Provide administrative support to faculty interested in orengaged in industry partnerships.
Help respond to partner inquiries and route them to appropriatestaff or faculty.
Support coordination between CU Boulder units (Contracts &Grants, Advancement, Career Services, Venture Partners, etc.) tofacilitate smooth partner engagement.
Tracking & Reporting

Maintain shared files and tracking systems for partnerships,events, and projects.
Assist with collecting and organizing data for reports andcommunications.
Contribute to monitoring program impact and identifying areasfor process improvement.
What You Should Know

This is a 50% time position.
This position offers a hybrid work modality with at least 2days per week in person to support events.
This position involves occasional work during the evening tosupport event and partner visits.
We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
What We Can Offer

The annual hiring range for this 50% position is$30,000-$35,000.

What We Require

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or acombination of education and experience may substitute.

What We Would Like You to Have

2+ years of relevant professional experience.
Experience supporting programs or events in a university,research, or industry setting.
Familiarity with university systems such as contracts &grants, industry partnerships, or career services.
Proficiency with data tracking and reporting tools (e.g.,Excel, Google Sheets, CRM systems).
