Job Responsibilities
- Edit news and public affairs video for web – YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok and other social platforms
- Manage media storage and organization of footage and finished projects
- Oversee and adhere to quality control: audio, color correction, and other relevant video specs
- Manage multiple edits and ensure on time delivery
- Ensure all video content is delivered to channel managers
- Additional duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum four (4) years of relevant experience
- Experience working as a video editor on YouTube- and social-first news programs or journalism sites
- Ability to edit digital video and proficiency with Premiere/Adobe Suite required
- Ability to adapt videos for use on various social media platforms
- Proficiency with media management tools and software
- Technical proficiency in remote content delivery
- Animation skills preferred
