Designing detailed interaction models for AI-driven workflows, the full-time remote Interaction Designer will focus on creating user input mechanisms, feedback systems, and controls that enhance user agency in AI interactions.
Key responsibilities
Design interaction models for initiating, monitoring, and completing multi-step tasks in AI-driven flows
Define interaction states for AI interfaces, including idle, thinking, acting, and failed states
Create detailed interaction specifications and prototypes for engineering handoff while collaborating with product and ML teams
Required qualifications
Experience as an interaction designer or senior UX designer with a strong focus on interaction design
Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma or equivalent
Strong understanding of HCI principles, including user control and feedback
Ability to systematically map complex AI behavior into coherent user-facing interaction logic
Experience collaborating closely with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
