Marketing Coordinator

*Hempz|Dallas, TX|In-Office|Full-Time*

ABOUT HEMPZ
Hempz is the #1 hemp seed oil beauty and wellness brand globally. Since 1998, we have built a cult following around pure hemp seed oil — vegan, cruelty-free, and made in the USA. Our products are known for 48-hour lightweight hydration and a signature scent experience that sets us apart in the category. Fragrance is a true brand differentiator: we build immersive scent stories rooted in mood, feeling, and sensory escape — not just ingredients. Now in our most ambitious era yet (new brand identity, new packaging, and the biggest marketing investment in brand history), we are scaling fast.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a cross-functional coordination role supporting the Hempz marketing team. You will work directly with the Senior Director of Marketing and serve as a key connector between internal teams (creative, digital, product, sales) and external agency partners.

The role offers broad exposure across brand marketing, influencer, affiliate, social, and creative operations — making it a strong foundation for someone who wants to build a well-rounded marketing career. The right person is a natural project manager who loves a spreadsheet, can draft a tight creative brief, and brings strong follow-through on timelines and details.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Campaign & Project Coordination

Support 360 campaign execution across A-, B-, and C-tier launches — tracking timelines, deliverables, and dependencies

Maintain and update the marketing activation calendar; flag conflicts and deadline risks proactively

Manage Asana (creative intake queue) — ensuring briefs are submitted, routed, and tracked to completion

Coordinate asset delivery across internal teams and agency partners (paid media, PR, influencer ops)

Draft and distribute creative briefs; assist in brief routing and revision tracking

Influencer & Affiliate Logistics

Coordinate influencer product send-outs — logistics, tracking, fulfillment — across gifted, paid, and agency tiers

Support campaign briefing for influencer partners; track content deliverables against go-live timelines

Maintain influencer and affiliate partner lists in CreatorIQ; update campaign tags and performance tracking

Assist in pulling and organizing affiliate performance data from ShopMy, LTK, and TikTok affiliate as needed

Assist in vetting and onboarding new affiliate partners; monitor link health and commission accuracy

Social & Content Coordination

Support the Social Media Manager with content scheduling, asset organization, and caption review

Monitor and surface relevant UGC for repost consideration; maintain UGC tracking log

Coordinate community platform (TYB) updates and content drops in partnership with Community Manager

Assist with PR sample fulfillment, press mailer logistics, and event coordination

Cross-Functional Operations

Serve as a connective point between Marketing, Creative, Digital, Product Development, and Sales

Organize and maintain shared marketing folders, asset libraries, and campaign documentation

Support the Senior Director with presentation prep, stakeholder materials, and ad hoc research

Track action items and follow-ups from team and agency meetings

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required

1–3 years of experience in marketing, brand, or agency coordination — beauty, CPG, or retail preferred

Exceptional organizational skills; you manage multiple live workstreams without dropping details

Strong written communication — clear, concise, and on-brand in briefs, recaps, and stakeholder updates

Comfort with data: can pull reports, build clean trackers, and surface the right numbers for the right audience

Experience with project management tools (Asana, Monday, or similar)

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets — pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas

Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage up without being prompted

Preferred

Experience with influencer or affiliate platforms: ShopMy, LTK, TikTok affiliate, CreatorIQ, or similar

Familiarity with paid media workflows or agency coordination

Experience supporting a marketing leader in a fast-moving, multi-channel brand environment

Passion for beauty, wellness, or personal care — cultural fluency with the category is a genuine advantage

Exposure to retail or mass/masstige brand environments (Ulta, Target, Walmart, salon professional)
