Role Overview

Provide high-fidelity Brazilian Portuguese audio recordings to train next-generation AI systems for a global customer. This remote contractor role focuses on producing clear, natural, and contextually accurate spoken samples that shape how models learn and perform. No prior experience in AI is required; subject-matter and recording expertise are the priority.
Key Responsibilities

Create and deliver professional-grade Portuguese (Brazil) audio recordings using your own high-end equipment.
Interpret and apply project guidelines to produce clear, natural, and contextually relevant audio samples for AI training.
Curate, review, and ensure linguistic accuracy, pronunciation, and overall quality of all submitted recordings.
Follow specific technical and quality standards for file formatting, consistency, and clarity.
Collaborate remotely with project coordinators, provide feedback, and incorporate direction during the recording process.
Supply a professional audio sample as part of onboarding, demonstrating your recording skill and equipment.
Meet agreed-upon deliverables and timelines for audio submissions.
Qualifications

Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese, with strong control of pronunciation and intonation.
Minimum of three years of proven experience in professional audio recording or voice work.
Demonstrated proficiency with high-end recording hardware and industry-standard audio editing tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication in Portuguese, and the ability to follow nuanced project instructions.
Portfolio or track record of high-quality audio projects, ideally for media, broadcasting, or educational content.
Familiarity with quality assurance processes for audio deliverables and a feedback-driven remote collaboration style.
You will need to have professional audio equipment available during the interview/onboarding sample recording.
Work Terms

Engagement type: Contractor.
Location: Remote, work performed from Brazil.
Work involves regular remote collaboration with project coordinators and adherence to provided technical standards and schedules.

Compensation

Pay range: $20 - $40 per hour, paid on an hourly contractor basis.
Eligibility

Must be a native-level Brazilian Portuguese speaker.
Must own and be able to operate professional-grade recording equipment; equipment must be available for use during the interview/onboarding audio sample.
Minimum three years of professional audio or voice recording experience, and a portfolio of relevant work.
