Position Summary: As aFire Management TravelA&P Mechanic, you will serve as the primary maintenance professional responsible for ensuring your assigned aircraft remain safe, airworthy, and mission-ready while operating away from Dynamic Aviation's headquarters. Working independently and in collaboration with flight crews, maintenance control, and local service providers, you will perform maintenance, coordinate logistics, and support customer operations to maximize aircraft availability. Your expertise and commitment to excellence directly contribute to mission success, customer satisfaction, and the reliable operation of Dynamic Aviation's specialized aviation services.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assignedaircraft, ensuringaircraftis available for customer flight missions on an on-going basis
Maintain companyaircraftand equipment to the highest standard
Assistother companyaircraftmechanics as needed or instructed
Independently managework dayto ensure all scheduled job responsibilities are accomplished
Responsible for communicatingaircraftstatus, maintenance expenses, changing location, monthly inventory, and AOG situations to Maintenance Control andtheManager
Act as a customer service representative with tasks as requested by management andassistpilots withaircraftservicing andpre-/post-flight activities
Communicate critical information tothecompany headquarters
Establish relationships with other service providers at each location the plane is stationed
Maintain parts inventory withaircraftand report all parts received from company headquartersand other vendors and order parts for upcoming maintenance
Schedule maintenance on company assets
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GEDrequired
FAA A&Prequired
Abilityto obtain FAA IA within 6 months of hire
1 year of King Air and Pratt & Whitney maintenance experiencerequired
Valid driver’s license with excellent driving recordrequired
Ability to travel in support of stationedaircraft
Computer skills including email and submission of detailed maintenance and flight information
Ability toworka schedule that varies (including weekends, nights,and holidays) depending on the mission schedule
Good teamwork, strong initiative, communication,problem-solving, troubleshooting,and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
Possess FAA IA
Additional Requirements
Ability to travel asrequired
Ability to: lift, balance, and carry 50lbs, crawl in and out of tight spaces,predominantlyworkinanopen hangar, work occasionally in exterior weather conditions or elevated heights
Working Conditions
Work schedule30 days on (including travel days), 12 days off
Working in anon-air-conditionedhangar or in all weather conditions
Pay Band: $34.35-$40.00. Starting pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity, and typically falls between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
