This is

not your typical front desk role . We’re seeking someone who understands the rhythm of a busy dance studio and thrives behind the scenes—supporting dancers, families, teachers, and leadership to keep everything running smoothly.
Dance Experience Required

The ideal candidate has prior experience working in a dance studio setting—such as a studio administrator, manager, front desk coordinator, or competition team coordinator and understands the unique flow of studio life.
You’re already familiar with:

Class scheduling and enrollment
Dance terminology and levels
Recitals, competitions, and costume processes
Communicating with dance families
Collaborating with instructors and directors
What You’ll Do

This role is highly dynamic and may include:
Managing emails, calls, and front desk communication
Supporting student registration and enrollment
Tracking rosters, waitlists, transfers, and drops
Processing tuition and payments
Creating and sending family communications
Coordinating recital, competition, and event logistics
Managing costume ordering and distribution
Creating schedules, spreadsheets, and organizational systems
Updating website content and studio information
Assisting with marketing and social media
Supporting studio events and performances
Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
Friendly, professional, and family-focused
Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
A strong written communicator
Proactive and solutions-oriented
Tech-savvy and confident learning new systems
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Passionate about dance education and supporting young dancers
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with studio software (Jackrabbit, DanceStudio-Pro, etc.)
Experience with spreadsheets and data tracking
Event or performance coordination experience
Social media or marketing experience (a plus!)
Additional hours available during recital season, competitions, camps, and special events
Compensation: $28–$34/hour (based on experience)
