POSITION OVERVIEW

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives for Campbell Oil Company (dba as Hometowne Energy and Rinker Oil and Propane) in the NY area. This position helps coordinate campaigns, promotional materials, digital content, community outreach, and internal communications to strengthen brand awareness and support business growth. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with leadership, operations teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure marketing efforts are organized, timely, and aligned with company goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Campaign Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, seasonal initiatives, and brand awareness efforts that support Campbell Oil business objectives.
Content Development: Help create, edit, and organize marketing content for flyers, signage, advertisements, email campaigns, social media, websites, and internal communications.
Brand Management: Ensure marketing materials remain consistent with approved Campbell Oil branding, messaging, and visual standards.
Project Management: Coordinate timelines, collect approvals, track deliverables, and help ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
Vendor Communication: Work with outside vendors, printers, media partners, and internal stakeholders to support production and distribution of marketing materials.
Digital Marketing Support: Assist with website updates, email marketing initiatives, social media scheduling, and basic tracking of campaign performance metrics.
Community and Event Support: Help coordinate sponsorships, community events, customer outreach initiatives, and other marketing activities that enhance Campbell Oil visibility in the market.
Reporting: Track marketing activity, compile campaign data, and prepare reports or summaries for leadership review.
Collaboration: Work closely with operations, sales, and leadership teams to understand business needs and support local and company-wide marketing efforts.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, communication, organization, and campaign effectiveness.
QualificationsEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in marketing, communications, advertising, project coordination, or administrative support preferred.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational and time management abilities; attention to detail; proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with marketing platforms and social media tools; basic understanding of branding, content creation, and digital marketing; ability to work collaboratively across departments; and strong creative problem-solving skills.
