Role Description

The Account Support Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Belleville, IL. This role supports both customer accounts and our facility sales consultants by responding to inquiries, processing orders, and resolving service issues in a timely, professional manner. Daily responsibilities include processing orders, maintaining accurate account information, assisting sales with proposal generation, coordinating with sales and internal teams (accounting, purchasing, and distribution), and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention. The Account Support Specialist assists with pricing maintenance, product availability checks and research, proposal generation, documentation management and service requests. This role also helps identify opportunities for account growth, contributes to continuous improvement of support processes, and represents Dutch Hollow Supplies values in every customer interaction.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Customer Support and Account Management skills focused on relationship-building and retention.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills for engaging with customers and internal teams.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for reviewing account activity, resolving issues, and interpreting basic data or reports
Proficiency with office software (e.g., ERP systems, order entry platforms, email, and spreadsheets) and accurate data entry.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in customer service, account support, or inside sales, preferably in distribution, wholesale, or related industries.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, communications, or related fields is beneficial.
