Preferred Skills • Experience supporting public policy, public affairs, or government relations communications. • Experience working within a technology, marketplace, or consumer-facing organization. • Experience collaborating with communications, public policy, and cross-functional business teams. • Ability to identify opportunities that strengthen corporate reputation through strategic communications. • Passion for continuous process improvement and sharing best practices. Role Overview This role supports the communications team by coordinating cross-functional initiatives, managing communications processes, and providing operational support for policy communications activities. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across teams while developing high-quality communications materials. The ideal candidate is an organized communications professional with strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires excellent collaboration, project coordination, and corporate communications experience. Duties • Support the Policy Communications Lead by coordinating team operations and providing organizational support for communications initiatives. • Partner with regional communications leads to align priorities and facilitate cross-functional collaboration. • Develop and edit communications materials, including press releases, media pitches, messaging guidelines, Q&A documents, briefs, presentations, talking points, and op-eds. • Coordinate communications priorities across internal stakeholders and business teams. • Identify opportunities to collaborate with public policy teams on initiatives that strengthen corporate reputation and support business objectives. • Help drive communications processes, maintain team organization, and ensure timely execution of deliverables. • Provide surge support for nationwide communications initiatives and high-priority projects.
