Our client, a consumer goods company, is seeking a Visual Designer to join their team. As a Visual Designer, you will be part of the design team supporting product designers, software engineers, and other creative team members. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and creativity and artistic skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Visual Designer Location: Cincinnati, OH Pay Rate: $33.01/hr What's the Job?
Create layouts, designs, illustrations, and visual content for print and digital media, including advertisements, websites, brochures, packaging, and marketing materials.
Develop and maintain UI design deliverables such as mockups, clickable prototypes, design systems, development handoff assets, and simple animations.
Interpret brand guidelines and translate them into consistent digital UI designs.
Conduct UI research activities including competitive analysis, A/B testing, and accessibility reviews.
Collaborate with UX designers, software engineers, and other creative team members to support design handoff and UI reviews.
What's Needed?
Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
Intermediate skills in UI design and knowledge of UI design principles.
Knowledge of design principles and typography.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with creative teams, stakeholders, and engineers.
Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
