DescriptionThe Director of Marketing & Communications leads RAVE's brand, product marketing, and external communications strategy across the global in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) market. This role is responsible for strengthening brand awareness, market differentiation, and customer engagement while supporting commercial growth.Working closely with Product, Sales, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership, the Director develops and executes integrated marketing initiatives that position RAVE as a leader in hardware and digital platform solutions. This leader will oversee all aspects of brand management, product positioning, communications, events, and industry engagement while building and developing a high-performing marketing team.The ideal candidate is a strategic and collaborative marketing leader with a strong background in B2B marketing, ideally within complex technology, aerospace, aviation, or other highly technical industries. They possess the ability to translate sophisticated products and solutions into compelling customer value propositions, build credibility with enterprise customers and industry stakeholders, and drive measurable business results through integrated marketing initiatives. This individual combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, excels at building cross-functional partnerships, and brings the leadership presence, creativity, and business acumen needed to elevate RAVE's brand and support continued growth.RequirementsOwn the global brand strategy for RAVE, its product portfolio, and employer brand, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all channels and touchpointsOwn and steward the RAVE brand identity, including visual standards, tone of voice, and brand guidelines, ensuring consistent and compelling expression across every customer, partner, and industry touchpointDevelop and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy aligned with company goals, market positioning, and customer insightsBuild, mentor, and empower a high-performing marketing and communications team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous growthLead product marketing by developing clear value propositions, positioning frameworks, sales enablement materials, and creative assets, in close collaboration with Product and Sales teamsSet strategic direction for all creative output, ensuring RAVE's visual and verbal storytelling is sharp, differentiated, and consistent with our brand identityServe as a brand spokesperson and industry thought leader, driving RAVE's visibility through media relations, public speaking, and active participation in the IFEC and broader aviation ecosystemPlan and manage trade advertising across key industry publications and events, driving topline brand awareness and reinforcing RAVE's position in the IFEC marketLead planning and execution of RAVE's presence at global tradeshows, conferences, and industry events, covering logistics, booth design, lead generation, and post-event analysisManage and optimize the global marketing and communications budget to maximize ROI and support business growthCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to ensure marketing is aligned and accelerating commercial outcomesDrive co-marketing and pre-sales initiatives with OEM partners, airline customers, and strategic partners to strengthen brand equity and market presenceOversee the selection, negotiation, and management of external agencies, creative vendors, and media partnersRequirementsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally in IFEC, commercial aviation, aerospace, or technologyProven success in brand strategy, integrated marketing, and communications at a global levelDeep experience in brand strategy, product marketing, and external communications in a B2B technology industry; preferably in an aviation-related industryDemonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teamsStrong understanding of product marketing, customer journeys, and industry-specific go-to-market strategiesDeep experience with global tradeshow strategy and execution, including lead management and ROI trackingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence as a public speaker and brand spokespersonExceptional storytelling, presentation, and public speaking skillsExperience managing budgets and working with international stakeholdersAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with global reachBenefitsThe starting pay range for this position is $160,000 - 170,000 per year however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.In addition to a comprehensive package of health benefits that include company contributions, RAVE Aerospace offers a variety of additional benefits and perks to enhance your work-life balance experience including but not limited to:A home allowance to elevate your home workspaceDiscretionary bonus programFuture financial security with a 401(k) program with a company matchPaid time off covering vacations, personal time off, and sick days, capped off by an exciting year-end holiday shutdownEmbraced flexibility with our alternative work schedule (9/80) to navigate your workweeks with every other Friday offJob SummaryID: A289DEB9E6Department: Sales and Marketing
