Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Director - Long-Range Research Initiative (LRI) & Applied Science Strategies to lead scientific research programs and apply research findings to support regulatory, policy, and strategic decision-making. This role will oversee research initiatives, manage scientific collaborations, and work closely with domestic and international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Long-Range Research Initiative (LRI) program.

Develop research strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Oversee research projects, budgets, contracts, and consultants.

Analyze scientific data and translate findings into policy recommendations.

Collaborate with industry, government, academia, and international research organizations.

Present scientific findings to leadership and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Public Health, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in the chemical industry, government, or related scientific field.

Strong knowledge of chemical safety, regulatory science, and research management.

Experience with international scientific collaborations and data analysis.

Preferred

Experience in risk assessment and regulatory policy.

Background in toxicology, environmental science, or public health.

Excellent leadership and science communication skills.
