Job Posting DescriptionPosition Summary: Director of Marketing Operations (hybrid)Key Responsibilities:  1. Strategic Leadership and Department Planninga. Partners with the Chief Marketing Officer to identify, prioritize, and execute high-impactopportunities across the Marketing organization.   b. Supports strategic planning and development of short- and long-term departmental goals,priorities, and performance measures.c. Drives and supports cross-functional strategic initiatives that advance department goalsand business outcomes.d. Recommends and implements new systems, processes, and operating models thatstrengthen efficiency, scalability, and organizational effectiveness.2. Financial Planning and Resource Managementa. Leads preparation, administration, and oversight of the Marketing Department’s annualoperating and capital budgets.b. Reviews, evaluates, and consolidates budgets submitted by senior leaders and managers,ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial guidelines.c. Develops and maintains systems and procedures for recording, monitoring, and evaluatingfinancial performance and activity.d. Authorizes designated expenses, tracks budget performance, and investigates andresolves variances.e. Analyzes financial activity, identifies trends and patterns, and develops recommendationsto support departmental goals and resource optimization.f. Advises the CMO and department leadership on financial and administrative matters andprepares reports, forecasts, and special analyses as needed.3. Operations and Workflow Managementa. Oversees day-to-day operational functions of the Marketing Department to ensureefficient, coordinated execution of work.b. Establishes and improves department-wide processes, policies, and workflows thatsupport productivity, accountability, and service delivery.c. Oversees workflow and intake management, including leadership of the Marketing Trafficfunction to support timely execution of Marketing, Content, and Web projects.d. Manages departmental office operations, including workspace planning, equipmentacquisition, and coordination of staff events and retreats.e. Ensures operational practices evolve to support a high-performing, integrated, and datadrivenmarketing organization.    4. People Operations and Organizational Effectivenessa. Oversees administration of human resource policies, procedures, and programs within theMarketing Department, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.b. Advises department managers on interpretation and application of personnel policies andprocedures.c. Reviews and authorizes employee status changes, including hours, salary actions, andrelated administrative updates, as appropriate.d. Leads onboarding and offboarding processes for department staff.e. Reviews and helps evolve organizational structure, role design, and team processes tosupport growth, collaboration, and changing business needs.f. Supports professional development, team engagement, and a positive office culture thatpromotes teamwork and collaboration.5. Team Leadershipa. Provides leadership, coaching, and mentorship to staff across the Marketing Departmentthrough a collaborative and supportive management approach.b. Oversees assigned staff and administrative support personnel, including hiring, training,supervision, performance management, and workflow delegation.c. Monitors staffing needs, workload distribution, and operational coverage to ensuredepartmental priorities are met.    Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree required.
