Creative Ops Lead — Brand, Content Systems & AI Workflows

Remote · Contractor · Long‑term opportunity

New ERA Digital Marketing helps painting contractors across the U.S. and Canada grow through paid ads, appointment booking, and better growth systems.

We are not building a generic content machine. We are building a founder‑led, proof‑driven content system that helps painting contractors trust us before they ever book a call. Our content cannot sound generic. It cannot be random posts for the sake of posting. It cannot be AI‑generated content with no judgment behind it. It has to come from real market signals, client proof, sales conversations, contractor pain points, founder perspective, and performance feedback. That is why we are hiring a Creative Ops Lead.

This role is for someone who can help turn raw ideas, sales insights, client wins, founder notes, Looms, comments, DMs, and AI‑assisted drafts into a clean content operating system. This is not just a content creator role. This is not just a video editor role. This is not a social media scheduler role. You are here to help build the system behind the content.

Mission
Make Daniel the strategic voice, not the content operations bottleneck. You will help capture signals, organize ideas, create briefs, support AI‑assisted scripting, coordinate editor handoff, manage revisions, protect brand quality, and feed performance learnings back into the next content cycle.

What You Will Own

Content signal intake

Weekly idea backlog

Content pillars and series organization

AI‑assisted scripting workflow

Founder recording briefs

Editor briefs

Revision workflow

Publishing coordination

Content reporting

Creative refresh cadence

Brand governance support

Paid / organic creative learning loop

Documentation of the creative operating system

What Good Creative Ops Looks Like Here
Good creative operations is not just posting more. It means the right ideas move through the system without Daniel having to rebuild the strategy every time. A strong creative system:

captures real signals

turns those signals into useful ideas

creates clear recording briefs

gives editors better direction

keeps revisions organized

protects brand quality

uses AI without blindly trusting it

tracks what works

improves the next cycle

The best person for this role knows how to create structure without killing the voice.

AI Boundary
We use AI. We want to use it more. But AI does not own the brand. AI can help with:

research

signal clustering

first‑pass hooks

outlines

caption drafts

repurposing ideas

summaries

QA checks

Human judgment owns:

truth

taste

founder voice

brand meaning

claims

proof

offers

positioning

final public-facing approval

If you blindly trust AI output because it sounds good, this is not your role. Your job is to use AI backstage while protecting the quality of what goes on stage.

What Success Looks Like
First 30 Days
You understand NEW ERA’s market, offer, audience, proof, voice, and current content workflow. You audit the current content system. You identify where ideas are coming from, where they get stuck, what Daniel still has to do manually, and what needs to be cleaned up first. You help create the first clean version of:

signal intake

idea backlog

founder recording brief format

editor brief format

weekly content workflow

content review process

First 60 Days
The weekly content workflow is cleaner. Daniel has clearer recording briefs. Editors receive better direction. Revisions are easier to manage. AI is helping with drafts, summaries, hooks, and repurposing without lowering quality. Performance learnings are being captured.

First 90 Days
There is a repeatable content operating rhythm. The team knows what ideas are approved, what Daniel needs to record, what editors are working on, what is ready for review, what is published, and what should be learned from performance. Daniel is still the strategic voice. But he is no longer the content operations bottleneck.

Tools You May Work With
You do not need to be an expert in every tool, but you should be comfortable learning and working inside tools like:

ClickUp

Google Drive

Google Docs

Google Sheets

Loom

Canva

CapCut

Descript

ChatGPT

Claude

Meta Business Suite

Social scheduling tools

AI / internal agent tools as the system grows

Who We Want
You are a strong fit if:

You have managed content operations or creative workflows.

You can turn raw ideas into organized content plans.

You can create clear briefs for founders and editors.

You write clearly.

You understand brand voice.

You know how to use AI without letting it lower quality.

You can tell the difference between a good-sounding claim and a true claim.

You are organized enough to run a weekly content rhythm.

You can manage revisions without creating chaos.

You care about proof, quality, and trust.

You want to help build a long-term creative operating system.

Who We Do Not Want
This is probably not the right role if:

You only want to make random social media posts.

You need Daniel to tell you every idea to create.

You blindly trust AI output.

You do not understand brand risk.

You cannot write clearly.

You are disorganized with creative workflows.

You treat content as volume instead of signal, trust, and positioning.

You do not like documentation.

You cannot create clear instructions for editors.

You want to publish without approval.

You are looking for a basic social media assistant role.

Bonus Experience
Bonus points if you have experience with:

Founder-led content

Agency content systems

Personal brands

B2B marketing

Local service businesses

Home improvement or contractor markets

Short-form video workflows

Content calendars

Scriptwriting

Editor management

AI-assisted content workflows

ClickUp or Notion content systems

Paid / organic creative learning loops

Approval Boundaries
This role can move fast, but it does not have unlimited approval. Daniel approval is required before:

final public-facing content

final scripts

final videos

website copy changes

sales asset changes

case study claims

ROI / revenue claims

offers

guarantees

brand positioning changes

live paid creative use

agentic workflow changes that affect public-facing output

You can gather signals, organize backlog, draft hooks/scripts, create recording briefs, create editor briefs, prepare content calendars, draft reports, and document workflow improvements without approval. But final public-facing judgment stays human.

Compensation
Remote contractor role to start. Compensation depends on experience, country, availability, communication ability, creative operations experience, writing ability, AI workflow judgment, and how independently you can help operate the system. We are looking for the right long-term person, not the cheapest applicant. As the role grows, responsibility and pay can grow with it.

Final Note
If you are the right person for this role, you probably already know it. You like turning messy ideas into clean systems. You care about voice, proof, and quality. You can use AI without letting it make the work generic. You can make the founder’s content process lighter. Apply with specifics. Show your thinking. Show what you have built.
