ResponsibilitiesThe Director, Business Development will partner across the Groupe when The Lab plays an integral role in a new business opportunity, building and designing the data, tech, audience, and AI narrative. The ideal candidate will:Oversee the efforts to acquire new clients, growing revenue for the Groupe at large, and retain strategic accountsLead responses to client inquiries pertaining to data, audience, and analytics, including Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), capabilities presentations, working sessions, client briefs, and final proposal documentsOversee the development, design, and presentation of all client pitch presentationsThoughtfully manage all pitch activities (including global and local): responsible from receipt of request through final submission / presentationsCollaborate closely with Groupe capabilities to craft pitch strategy and narrativePartner with cross-functional teams, building trusted relationships across the Agency Leads, Groupe capabilities, Epsilon, etc. The ideal candidate should understand strategy, media, and technology, and have direct experience with business development, product marketing, agency service frameworks, and organizational design.Candidates will be successful when they:Strong understanding of the marketing and media industry, pipeline management and client acquisitionStrategic thinker and content creator, crafting a storyline that compels the client prospect to partner with the Groupe, or retain a strategic accountIllustrate the ability to prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate to senior leadership team as necessaryHave proficiency in communicating clearly and concisely, keeping audience in mindPossess exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to craft concise briefs for senior executives and clientsCandidates stand out when they:Are a creative problem solver, possessing a high level of intuitionHave strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, resourceful team playerAre an excellent creative thinker with the ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisionsPossess impeccable time management skills, managing multiple complex activities at onceHave experience working with co-located and virtual teamsHave excellent judgment while working on high-priority, confidential initiativesQualificationsBA/BS in Business, Marketing, or Strategy-related discipline7-10 years of relevant experience with marketing and media agencies or adjacent capabilities, such as ad- and mar-tech firms, consultancies, or client-side marketing organizationsDemonstrated skills in slide design, analysis, writing, communication, and cross-functional collaborationAbility to look at the larger picture with a strategic perspective, balanced with an eye for detailAdditional informationOur Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
