As an Optimizely CMS engineer, you will help clients unlock the full value of a modern SaaS DXP — from structured content and omnichannel delivery to personalization, A/B testing, and marketing automation integration.Once You Are Here, You WillDevelop, configure, and maintain digital experiences on the Optimizely CMS SaaS platform, including content types, pages, blocks, and site structure.Build front-end experiences using React and Next.js that integrate with Optimizely's Content Graph and Delivery API for headless and hybrid delivery scenarios.Implement and optimize content models, visitor groups, content personalization rules, and editorial workflows that reflect client business needs.Configure and support Optimizely's built-in A/B testing and multivariate experimentation capabilities in collaboration with client marketing teams.Integrate Optimizely CMS with third-party services including DAM, e-commerce, search, CDP, and marketing automation platforms via REST APIs and webhooks.Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment environments, and local development tooling using Node.js, Docker, and cloud hosting services.Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain coding standards across the team.Translate marketing and digital experience requirements into platform-native Optimizely recommendations and configurations.Create and manage Git branches, pull requests, and merge workflows using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.Debug and resolve technical challenges related to content delivery, API performance, rendering, caching, and localization.Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, contribute to sprint planning, and provide task-level estimates.Integrate web analytics and tag management solutions with Optimizely front-end implementations.Required Qualifications4 to 7 years of professional development experience, including hands-on work with enterprise CMS or DXP platforms; Optimizely CMS experience strongly preferred.3+ years of experience with JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks, particularly React and Next.js.Solid understanding of REST API consumption and integration patterns; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.Experience with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.Preferred ExperienceOptimizely CMS platform certification, or active progress toward certification.Hands-on experience with Optimizely CMS SaaS, including content type modeling, site settings, channel configuration, and publishing workflows.Familiarity with Optimizely Content Graph for structured, API-first content delivery across channels.Experience implementing Optimizely Personalization and Experimentation features, including visitor groups, A/B tests, and feature flags.Understanding of Optimizely's SaaS deployment model, including environment management, release channels, and platform-managed infrastructure.Experience integrating Optimizely with third-party tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Coveo, Cloudinary, or similar MarTech and DAM platforms.Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, and serverless/edge function development.Knowledge of localization and multi-language content modeling strategies in an enterprise DXP context.Experience with SSO integrations using OAuth 2.0 or JWT.Familiarity with Angular for front-end development; exposure to Angular-based headless front-end patterns is a plus.Active use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar to improve coding speed and quality.Good debugging skills and ability to isolate and resolve front-end and API integration issues.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across client and internal teams.Ideal MindsetLifelong Learner: You are always seeking to improve your technical and platform skills as the DXP ecosystem evolves — including how AI tools are reshaping the way modern engineers work.Team Player: You want to see everyone on the team succeed and are willing to go the extra mile to help a teammate.Listener: You listen to the needs of the client and make those priorities central to how you develop and configure solutions.LocationRemote / Hybrid – U.S. BasedApplications should contain a resume.About NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
