To support the integrity and documentation of network infrastructure, the full-time remote Fiber Designer will design complex fiber optic splicing plans, maintain network data accuracy, and collaborate with project managers and contractors.
Key responsibilities
Manage network inventory by reviewing construction documents and conducting quality assurance audits on data integrity
Design detailed engineering plans for fiber optic splicing based on customer specifications
Coordinate projects by utilizing network inventory data and collaborating with project managers and construction vendors
Required qualifications
2+ years of telecommunications experience with knowledge of engineering drawings and fiber optic materials
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
Experience with fiber optic network inventory systems and GIS applications such as AutoCAD or QGIS
Strong analytical abilities and professional communication skills
