Digital Designer

Alexander & Tom is seeking a

Digital Designer

to shape intuitive, user-centered digital experiences in a hybrid setup in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities

Produce engaging digital designs with a focus on

usability

and

accessibility .

Design visually compelling

digital ads

that increase engagement and support

conversions .

Partner with cross-functional teams, including

marketers ,

developers ,

UX/UI designers , and

content creators , to ensure work connects with the target audience.

Turn static concepts into

interactive experiences

using modern tools and technologies.

Research

user behavior

and preferences to refine design and messaging for intuitive experiences.

Create

high-fidelity wireframes

and prototype designs that incorporate key messaging, marketing strategy, platform features, web best practices, and UX/accessibility standards.

Stay current on design trends, tools, and techniques, applying that knowledge to improve and evolve the digital presence.

Requirements

Portfolio that demonstrates the ability to

conceptualize

and execute captivating designs.

Strong command of

composition

and

typography

for effective digital ads and websites.

Proficiency with

Photoshop ,

InDesign ,

Illustrator ,

Sketch

(and related tools).

Video production experience is a

plus .

Helpful but not required: ability to craft

short-form marketing copy .

Ability to write

banner copy ,

headlines ,

succinct emails , and

landing pages .

Understanding that design goes beyond aesthetics, including analyzing user needs and building seamless experiences.

Comfort managing timelines and keeping project managers and clients updated on progress.

Experience collaborating in an environment where ideas can be iterated with others.

Strong organization: maintain client files using

naming conventions

and track deliverables in designated tracking sheets.
