To be considered an applicant for this position you must meet the minimum qualifications as stated in this announcement. Applicantsmust be legally authorized to work in the United States withoutrestrictions and appointment will be contingent upon completion ofa background check.

This is a part-time position (free-lance) associated withthe Multimedia Department. We are creating a registry of qualifiedphotographers to be deployed as needed for day/evening/weekendassignments. A vacancy may not currently exist.

The part-time positions report to the Associate Director ofMultimedia & Video Services or his/her designee.

Minimum Qualifications:

3-5 years of professional photography experience.

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, includingmornings, nights and weekends, as required to coverassignments.

Excellent communication, time management, organization skills andattention to detail.

Ability to move, lift, set up and break down photographyequipment.

Demonstrated ability to capture events with on cameraflash/speedlights.

Knowledge of photo editing software, preferably Adobe CreativeSuite (Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom).

Preferred Qualifications

Prior professional experience in photojournalism, photography,communications or marketing.

Proficiency in shooting with DSLR cameras.

Hourly rate: $35.00

before the close date of September 1st, 2026.
