Content Producer (Social Media)

Loopy · New York, NY, USA · Remote ·

Pay:
34.000 - 55.000
Job type:
Contract

Loopy is building a social platform designed to help people spend less time passively scrolling and more time creating real memories together.

Through interactive games, events, and shared social spaces, Loopy helps friends and strangers connect in person. We are building a movement around bringing people together again.

We are a small, early‑stage team preparing to launch Loopy this September, and we are looking for a creative who wants to help create content for our brand. If you want to be part of changing how people hang out, connect, and make memories, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role
We are looking for a creative, culturally aware, and motivated individual to help build Loopy’s presence across social media pages, such as TikTok and Instagram Reels.

You will serve as one of the creative faces behind Loopy’s social presence—a storyteller, interviewer, and content creator who can turn authentic moments into engaging short‑form content.

This is a hands‑on role. You will help develop ideas, film and edit videos, conduct interviews, support campaigns, and experiment with content that grows Loopy’s community and reinforces our mission of bringing back the hangout.

You will work closely with Loopy’s founding and marketing team, with meaningful ownership over the content you create.

Responsibilities
Content Creation

Create and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts

Film gameplay, social challenges, behind‑the‑scenes moments, lifestyle content, and community experiences

Develop strong hooks, captions, interview questions, and video concepts

Help maintain a consistent posting schedule across Loopy’s social platforms

Ensure content reflects Loopy’s playful, authentic, and community‑first brand

Capture content at Loopy events, activations, and other in‑person experiences when available

Interviews & Podcasts

Plan and conduct interviews centered around friendship, dating, connection, shared experiences, and modern social life

Help develop thoughtful, entertaining, and culturally relevant interview questions

Approach and communicate with participants confidently and respectfully

Capture authentic interactions that reflect Loopy’s mission of bringing people together

Organize and upload raw footage for the wider team to review and edit

Creative Strategy and Growth

Research current social media trends, emerging formats, and culturally relevant conversations

Identify trends that can be adapted meaningfully to Loopy without relying on low‑quality or overly repetitive content

Pitch original content ideas, recurring series, campaign concepts, and growth experiments

Present ideas to the marketing team for feedback before production

Review content performance and identify ways to improve reach, engagement, retention, and shares

Help Loopy discover what makes people stop scrolling, participate, and become part of the community

Campaign and Marketing Support

Assist with planning and executing social media campaigns

Contribute to content calendars and campaign timelines

Create simple graphics and visual assets for Instagram and other marketing materials

Support creator partnerships, user‑generated content initiatives, and brand collaborations

Help promote Loopy events and create recap content following each event

Participate in regular marketing and creative meetings

Are comfortable presenting ideas and receiving constructive feedback

Can work independently while collaborating with a small startup team

Are organized, dependable, and able to meet agreed‑upon content deadlines

Are excited about startups, community building, friendships, and changing how people connect

Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, Figma, photography, videography, graphic design, or social media analytics is recommended but not required.
