Position Overview

Interships usually begin the end of May through early September. Mueller Sports Medicine (MSM) looks for candidates that are academically strong with a passion for their field of study. MSM provides opportunities for internships in marketing, purchasing, logistics, information technology (IT), finance and accounting, or customer service. An intern can expect to virtually and/or in-person meet with associates, vendors, customers to explore future career opportunities. If the intern chooses to take the internship for credit, MSM is willing to accommodate any recordkeeping or evaluation requirements.
Position Functions

70% Creative storyteller within Brand Guidelines

Write, develop and produce content and copy for a variety of digital platforms, including websites, blogs social media posts, Youtube and email campaigns
Produce story boards and mood boards to bring ideas to life
Create and edit visually engaging social videos, Instagram stories and reels
Create product images and product video content to use on e-commerce pages

30% Team Collaboration

Partner with marketing team to understand consumer needs and brand objectives and be able to translate them into compelling video or static content
Sell through content to broader team and incorporate feedback

Minimum Qualifications

Completed one year of post-high school education and enrolled for the fall semester at a technical college or four-year university. Pursuing a degree in a field of study related to the area of the internship.
Experience in photography, editing, and video production. Confidence in using video and photography editing tools such as Adobe photoshop and Premiere.
Have a grade point average sufficient to be considered in good academic standing.
Ability to understand and comply with Mueller Safety Systems and current regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous work experience or internships in the field or a related field of the internship.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills; ability to stand or sit, bend or stoop, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read. The team member frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Position requires frequent typing. Position requires limited business travel, including operation of a motor vehicle.
